After taking family photos for fun with my Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 I decided to download them to my computer and after doing so I find that they download in a 408 x 306 size, I been shooting with 8mp for larger size images but after downloading then they don't show up in that size.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Check the app you are taking the pictures with.

If you are using the default Camera app, hit the Menu button inside the app and check the settings.

My default app lets me take 3264 x 2448

Or try an app like Camera 360 and set the quality to full and no picture JPG compression.

Just to clarify how exactly are you transferring the photos over to PC are you using Media Go simply mounting the memory stick and accessing the DCIM folder?

How do you do "no picture JPG compression" on the Xperia camera?

    Thanks for any reply.

    Camera 360
    open Settings
    change setting to super fine.

Any changes to the pictures should be done afterwards.

PS....light is everything....and I have not had good success with the default Camera app....Camera 360 is better.
