Launch apps-I use the shortcuts to launch up to 36 apps.
Search Droid- I just start typing to find apps or contacts as well as start a web search.
    Comfort for landscape mode.
To have full screen view when typing.
Physical keyboard is for more then typing.
To set shortcuts. Menu-setting-application-quick launch. Long press to clear and double tap to add apps.
What else do you do that is faster/better with the keyboard ?

All of the game emulators and PC ports like Doom are far more functional to play with a keyboard :)

I am running an app (isilo) that requires use of the d-pad to navigate. Sometimes with my fat fingers using the cursor is the only way to surf the web without frustration. To each his own.

On sunny days, launching from the keyboard is really easier.
