anyone figure out how to create albums in the new gallery? can we do that?

Should we do it from the SD Card?

    jbrinkley -
Settings -> Accounts & sync settings -> (your Google ID) --> uncheck 'Sync Picasa Web Albums'

    Does this work?

once you get to that sceen....... sync picasa, sync contacts, sync calendar, sync gmail
there are no boxes to check, only "touch to sync now" can't delete any of those either.
I had the auto sync off from the start but it still pulled everything from picasa. No big deal I guess, I would just rather not have thousands of pics in my gallery.
I'[m gonna try a different picture app or something.

one other thing... you can't delete imported picasa pics in gallery I don't think. But I can delete my own pics and any transferred pics.

Hmm.. I have ERD79 too. I don't know why you don't have check boxes as that seems counterintuitive. I spent a good three hours cleaning up my picasa web albums though once I got my Nexus One.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

oops, I got it, enable auto sync, then it gives you the boxes to to check.
I knew I'd post something lame at some point.
stay tuned for more silly questions

Is this specific to the 2.1 build or the 2.1 Gallery? I'm trying to do the opposite but have my Droid on 2.0.1 still, don't really want to root it since they will be releasing 2.1 soon.
