    Hi,

I'm looking at rooting my phone but i wanted to download the correct shipped rom first in case I want to go back. I've looked at the roms on this link:

    Shipped ROMs

I'm not sure which one I need though, my current software details are:

    2.29.405.5 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27

I've seen roms with the same software versions in them, could someone advise which one I need? My phone is unbranded as well.

Ok i've rooted and installed the gingervillain rom. I'm trying to setup the app2sd+ on my phone. Do I need to wipe my SD card and create a partition on it now or do I just run the dalvik cache command on my phone?

You need a partition if you want to use a2sd.

So I do create the partition then run the a2sd cachesd command? And then I do I move all apps to the sd myself? Sorry for all the questions!

I've tried following that but i'm confused! I've created the partition and it shows in quick system info. I ran the command to move the dalvik cache and it did create a big chunk of free space but there were still apps showing that could be moved in app2sd like Aldiko so I moved them and created some more space. I thought the script would do all that for me though?

youve just moved the apps from your ext partition to your fat 32 partition. Like the faq states, you dont move anything.
