Support Pics taken in portrait rotate 90 CCW when uploading...wtf

    This problem happened on my last Droid and I see something as simple as this is still a huge problem.

    Any picture you have on your phone that was taken in portrait always gets rotated 90 CCW...wtf is this? It's not the facebook app because when I try to set any of the pictures I have as wallpapers they all get rotated 90 degrees CCW. :rolleyes:

    it's because phones are set so that holding it in landscape is really the 'right' way to take a picture. kinda like using a real camera (although more newer ones automatically rotate) the 'normal' way to hold a camera is landscape - if you try to take a photo in portrait then you have to rotate it later.

    i thought it was goofy to when i got my bb storm. you would think holding the phone like you normally would and the top of the phone would be the top of the picture. but it's not. they want you to hold it in landscape so that the side of the phone is the 'top' of the photo.

    if that makes any sense......
