On my husbands g2 there is what looks like a photo album. He likes the quick access to photos there. The problem is duplicate pictures in it. I cannot figure out how to delete the duplicate ones.

In the gallery? Try long pressing on an image. A menu should appear. Select delete and confirm. :)

I actually find swipe and delete faster, but for some reason I cannot disable the "Are you sure?" prompt. Do you have any idea? When I pinch out the images turn into a list sideways and when I flick an image up it deletes the picture. On my old LG it used to delete without asking, but now in this G2 it keeps asking me every single time.

Didn't know you could swype and delete... probably you'd need a different media viewer to avoid a confirmation dialog. I don't see a setting for it anywhere. :(

Yeah you can still do it in G2 but the dialog really slows things down.
No, it was the stock picture viewer app on LG unless it had another "Gallery" app, I will have to check that out. I only used the stock gallery and QuickPic on all my phones, and I know qp does not have this function (although I like QP's other functions).
