Anyone know how to get small thumbnail pictures of your contacts on your homepage? like the ones you call often. right now its just the little default contact card with the name . HTC Dream was able to show the pictures but not xperia. weird.

    any suggestions please?

also while im posting might as well save threads and ask here lol....

I tried playing an MkV video file.. But its very choppy and slo-mo kind of. tried using Xandplayer and something else. no help. is there a best above all media player for x10? i had a VLC player for my old HTC dream that worked fine. I would love to watch my sitcom episodes on my phone.

    thanks!!!

Hello! Heres How I did it with my HTC EVO:
I long pressed on my homepage, and it brought up an "Add to Home" page, I chose "shortcut", and scrolled down to "person", chose the person I wanted to add, and then chose which way I wanted to contact them, and then voila! A small picture of a person on my homescreen... hi small person, lol okay the short of it: Long Press Home/Add to Home/Shortcut/person, :)

I was able to do it, by long pressing on the home screen, choosing 'Shortcuts' then choosing 'Quick Dial', choose your contact, and it adds them to the home screen with their picture :)

An easier way and maybe better - phoneface app ! puts all your contacts with pictures within 1 button press.
