Until recently, I've been using the same PIN for my phone as for the computers at work, which is obviously not very secure -- especially as I have to tell most of the people I'm working with what my work PIN is. No PIN is very secure though. A four-digit pin only has ten thousand possibilities, and if someone sees you enter some or all of it, that makes cracking it a whole lot easier. I've been thinking about having a PIN that changes so that even if someone watches me enter it, they won't be able to enter it themselves. For example, let's say it's 4:51 PM, April 5th, 2013. I turn on my screen, glance at the date, and rearrange this number in my mind to 201304050459. The first four digits and the last one are discarded: 0405045. I add 51 to the month, 3 to the day, subtract 1 from the hour, and add 4 to the minutes: 5308039. That's my pin for the ten minutes between 4:50 and 5:00. The most complex math goes in the month so I don't have to do it too frequently, and the pin changes every ten minutes, every day, and every month, so even if someone sees me put it in, the same pin will only work again for a span of ten minutes next year. Is such a thing possible with Tasker, and how would I do it?
