Help Pinch to zoom not working on browsers...what am I missing?

Pinch to zoom not working on stock browser...nor on Dolphin mini browser...am I missing something? Worked fine on my previous android phones...

Note: Pinch zoom DOES work on other things on my Note 2...just not on the browsers...

Thoughts? As far as I know, I've played with every applicable setting?

It's all sites...I have desktop setting turned on - I've just never liked "mobile" versions of websites...

UPDATE: Pinch to zoom is working now on the stock browser! Played around with settings again, and as far as I know haha, the only thing I changed was changing "enable plug-ins" to 'always on' ... but I tried that on Dolphin mini, and still no pinch to zoom...maybe it's a problem with that browser on the Note 2?

Anyone else with Dolphin mini? Is it working for you?

I remember having an issue with a stock browser where double-tapping a text wasn't zooming in with a proper format (on some of the websites). Switched to Chrome and never looked back!

Dolphin is having problems with this as well. They just updated recently and I think that caused the issue because I don't remember experiencing this when the phone first arrived.

It doesn't solve your problem, but have you tried heading into Settings -> Accessibility -> Magnification Gesture. It allows you to temp. triple tap to magnify the screen and scroll around. If you lift your finger it goes back to the normal screen res. Can't say this will work for the Note 2 but it does on my Nexus 7.

It works on my Note II stock browser. I just tried it and I had been using it often.
