Help 'Pinch to zoom' update doesn't want to install.

I get this notification about pinch to zoom update in PC Companion. Great! So I proceed and wait for loading bar to complete and then suddenly half way through an error pops up... 'update components can't be initialised' or something similar.

I tried to reinstall PC Companion, restarting my laptop multiple times as well as the phone itself but this update never wanted to proceed

What should I do ?? My Android is 2.1 from T-Mobile in the UK.

Try with Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) which is another program on their website.
