The reason I didn't root and set the bit to prevent software downloads is I thought I'd be prompted like I was with past software updates.

But no. This morning I wake up and it tells me my phone has been updated.

Now a bunch of stuff is broken including my 1.91 version of FoxFi.

Bluetooth launch no longer works with a double tap of the home button. s-voice comes up instead. Not sure why they didn't have good voice now come up in voice search mode instead given how much better it is than s-voice.

I usually like to wait a while before accepting updates to see what bugs others are seeing first. I guess I'm no longer an early adopter.

there should be an option in the phone to auto install updates.

Maybe you accidentally accepted the update? I got a notification and rejected it. Haven't been notified since.

I think there's some confusion on the initial notification screen. If memory serves, there are 3 buttons available- 'Update', 'delay', and 'reject'. The delay option allows you to delay the update for a number of hours. Some folks thought the 'delay' button would just delay the notification until later. The 'delay' button actually schedules the update itself- no further notification will be given (I think).

Mine automatically updated. I leave it on all night. I turned on my wife's and it had a count down to automatically update but I don't think I saw a delay or cancel option.
