Pixel 3 Dead?

It happened to mine and one other person I know....

just curious as to why you think others have had this happen? i doubt it was a global issue. it is probably just coincidence that it happened to a person you know at the same time.

does this happen a lot with your phone? or was this a random incident?

It could be a random issue.... Was just ironic that two phones died the day of the announcement...

How did they "die?" Brick? Bootloop? Burst into flames? Is there something else in common with the phones? Rooted? Custom OS? System apps disabled?

Both bricked over night... Mine was working great at 10pm went to bed and was dead at 6am

Have you tried holding the power button for 30+ seconds?

you sure it was not just a dead battery? battery life is usually 3-4 years....your phone was released in 2018 regardless of when you bought it....soooo....you are right on the borderline. was the phone plugged in over night? have you just left the phone on the charger for a long period of time?
