Anyone find a way to prevent incoming call from interrupting ongoing call? My phone did that for the first time yesterday and I am pretty concerned about it.

interrupts in what way? automatically takes the second call? or does it show that another call is coming in?

That sounds like something your carrier has done, rather than the phone.

Usually if you're making an outgoing phone call, any incoming callers should hear an engaged/busy tone, or an announcement that the other party is busy. That's unless you have your carrier's call waiting service enabled, but then you might hear pips or something if another party is trying to call you while you're in a call. I have call waiting on my service, but quite frankly I've never had an incoming call actually interrupting an outgoing call

Are we sure they were the same type of call? Many message apps (your WhatsApps, Messengers etc) can also do VoIP "phone calls", and since those are using a different system to the regular telephone call I don't know how they will interact with a normal voice call.
