Help Plan options in Canada

I am looking for advice on what carrier to use for a month-to-month plan in Canada. It would be great if you could call to the US without long distance charges but as long as I can text to the US and receive calls from the US I would be OK.

Does anybody have advice/ideas?

I just switched to Fido month to month on the $50 standard plan. Canada-wide LD (not to the US), unlimited North American txt and picture messaging. 1GB of data, no other charges other than tax. Also 10% off if you bring your own phone.

I am with Fido. They claim that text and call is canada wide included. I do not travel outside Gta too often so i cannot say too much. But in Toronto they got great service.
