Hey, I screwed up... my brother is obsessed with mobile games so i let him play on my new phone... Long story short he installed "Lucky Patcher" and tryed using a Modded Play Store feature.

This failed horribly and deleted my play store entirely. I installed the play store back by using some tricks, and when I go in it, it crashes on startup (if im lucky itll turn on but when i download something it crashes)

Ive gone to other fourms looking for help and they all turned me away telling me that it is against they're TOS.
Please help me in any way you can.

Specs: Samsung galaxy s4, SGH-i337z (cricket model). As far as i know there are no roms for this.
P.S.- I have factory reset and cleared my cache from inside the recovery settings over 10 times each.

The problem that other forums have (and we do, too) is that 'Lucky Patcher' is used to bypass license verification getting the user paid apps without paying the developer. I won't say 'free' because as you can see, there's always a cost. :( We don't permit discussion regarding using LP, but this isn't that, so we're cool.

No amount of resets and cache clearing is going to fix this. LP has modified your system. The only thing you can do is hope @Jfalls63 's links are still valid and you can reflash the stock firmware ... and keep your brother the %$#^&#$ off your phone. ;)

    Good luck.

No one, and I mean no one, is ever allowed to use my phone for anything more than to complete a telco conversation.

So you let your brother root it? ;)

BTW OP, I think you could be referring it to Samsung service, and if they can't fix it you might be looking at buying a new phone.

Usually an S4 is quite straight forward to get going again, but US carrier versions are another matter.

I only wish my brother were alive to give him a chance to mess with my phone.
He went off to another world back in 1989 :(

I don't think there's anything that special about Cricket other than the APN they would use.

In which case, should just be able to run Odin, flash the thing and be back in business. Or even put CyanogenMod or something on it. I sold my S4 to another expat.

My sister isn't speaking to anyone at the moment, including my dad, and brother(me) went off to live in China.
