    I can honestly say I like it tremendously better than swype.. the ability to add words is a plus and the buttons seem bigger.. can't find a shift button yet, but it does have a smiley face button. :)

    You can add words to Swype. Just enter the word, followed by a space (the space seems to be the 'learn this word' key).

    I didn't care for shapewriter, but Slideit is now available in the market, there is a free trial and a paid version. Give that one a try too! I personally love swype. I have tried all three though. My second choice would be slideit.
