Hi - having a panic, not very phone savvy...

Bought a replacement Samsung galaxy s2 on eBay 6mths ago and it had jellybean installed ..ending contract with three early and need to send back phone with memory cleared. I did a 'restore factory settings' on the menu system which seemed logical at the time. Wrong thing to do!! So phone is now black and unresponsive. If I hold power button it comes up with an empty battery sign, battery was full 5mins ago and is now charging, still showing the same. Holding buttons down together doesn't get a response.

Please can someone advise , is there anything I can do??

    welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!

i would pull the battery out and put it back in. wait until it is fully charged and then try and boot up. it might be that the battery is old.

hi - thanks so much for the reply!

if only that worked my problems would be solved! not that simple though. it seems to have no OS on it ( i dont know if thats even possible?!) i can do the 3 buttons (vol down, menu and power) to get it to the download screen but that is it. have a mac, just downloaded heimdall and trying to find the stock rom for the i9100 but its taking an age to work out how this all works...basically I'm completely lost! can anyone point me to a site that give easy to understand instructions?!
