Hi, I have the Droid Incredible and a my laptop is Windows 7 64 bit OS...I am itching to get my photos on my computer from my phone, however when I plug it in it directs me to V Cast download, which I did but then says that my computer doesn't support anything other then 32 bit at this time...does that mean I can't up load my photos from my phone to this paticular computer, or is there another option? :thinking:Please help...anybody! Why can't anything just be simple?

Don't use the Vcast BS. Instead, enable USB debugging on your phone at Menu > Settings > Applications > Development.

Then, at Menu > Connect to PC, change default connection type to disk drive.

Now connect to PC. Go to My Computer (they still have that on Windows 7?) or the Windows 7 equivalent, and your phone's SD card and the phone's internal storage will both be recognized as separate drives which you can open & browse.

For SD pics look in DCIM > 100Media

For internal storage look in emmc > DCIM > 100Media

You can copy/paste them to the PC or move them entirely to the PC (and vice versa) depending on what you want to do.

Also, to get rid of that Verizon spam-o-matic popup each time you connect to the PC:

    Dial ##7764726
    Hit Call
    Type Password is 000000
    Hit Feature Settings
    Choose CD ROM
    Click Disable
Hit menu, commit modifications (it will say no item changed)
    Back out to home
