Hi. I am new to this forum, in dire need of help, and not too tech savvy so please take it easy on me. The new update to the zte warp sequent updated everything in my phone, both preloaded and downloaded apps without a hitch except one: my notes app. It was a preloaded app. The app itself was deleted but I refuse to believe that all of the notes are gone, especially when no other apps were deleted. Furthermore, when I open my file manager, there are multiple files that are saying they can't be opened because there is no app to open them. Please help me. I need to know if I can salvage these notes. If not, I can go ahead and replace the phone since the "unbreakable" gorilla glass screen on my phone is shattered into a zillion pieces. :-/

you think zte uses gorilla glass? lmao yea right
you should be able to put the app back if you pull it from the old stock rom if it was a stock app that came with the phone
its not exactly for the non tech savvy though

Thanks Junkie2100. I know I might be asking a lot, but would you be able to talk me through it? I'm not tech savvy but I know how to follow directions...

Hi Bcrichster. I tried that but there are several notepad apps and the one I selected was no help.
