    Hey guys
I'm new here and still new to my droid as well. I have moto droid and I'm currently running frg01b(or something like that). I'm worried that when the ota(frg22) hits I won't get it cause I'm already 2.2. I was wanting to go back to offical 2.1 and wait for the ota2.2. Can some either let me know how to revert back to 2.1 or do u think I should still receive the ota?

    Thanks for all the help

It hasn't been decided whether FRG22 will be a release at all even. FRG01B is the official release. The one you pushed the manual update to is the same as the one people are currently getting. If they push out something new you will receive the OTA.

Don't worry and enjoy Froyo :)

Just to clarify, are you running FRG01B rooted within a rom, or did you do a force update? This makes a difference...If you did the forced update, you will (should) receive future updates no problem. If you are running an FRG01B cooked rom, you will likely NOT get the next update (if there is one)...

Good info... I was unsure if I should take mine back to stock and get the OTA or just leave the forced update on.... Im just gonna leave it.... Has worked well for me...

I'm pretty sure they are running stock. If rooted, no reason to go back :)
