About 3 weeks ago I activated my phone on the 1200 minute plan. Everything worked perfectly. When I ran out of minutes I called virgin mobile and switched to the unlimited plan. And immediately thereafter whenever I try to visit any url the phone goes to <virginmobileusa.com> and nowhere else. This happens on the 3G cellular. The wifi works normally. I have tried to get virgin to fix this problem for over two weeks. I've called them numerous times and I've contacted them several times through the website personal messaging system. At one point they told me they were submitting my problem to a higher tier of techs for an "investigation" which would take 5 to 8 days and as soon as the "investigation" was completed they would contact me. They never did. So I called again and again. Each time I do a tech does something different and then tells me to wait 4 hours. Nothing changes. I just discovered this forum and when I did I found some posts advising us to "activate" when we have data service problems. I did that and again no change. I loved this phone when I had data service that first week. But now I'm paying for data but have no data. So unless someone can help me I guess I'll have to switch back to boost mobile at the end of the first month. It's a lot slower connection speed but at least it does work.
