Help PLEASE HELP! PERMANENTLY DELETED FILES ON ROOTED GS4

I have a rooted att galaxy s4 (SGH-I337) and I'm not running any ROMs or kernels but my screen won't turn off! I was using an app called RoM toolbox lite and looking through my phone files when I may have deleted the feature that allows the screen to turn off. The power button is not broken, it only responds if I hold it down and the power menu will appear. I have completely factory reseted my phone, restarted it, rebooted it, turned it off and on, and took the battery out and nothing is fixing the issue. That is why I believe I may have permanently deleted something. Please help me!
