Hello, I am new here to the andriod forums. I am having the same type of problems. No data connection because I couldnt update my PRL. I put clockworkmod on my sprint HTC evo 4g and then installed cyanogenmod 7.0.3.1 then the gapp file, well i tried two different gapp files that didnt work. I wiped/factory restored then wiped dalvik then formated my system folder then installed from zip first the cm7 then gapps-20110307. That did give me cm7 but I had no market, no data connection no internet or tethering so a buddy of mine told me try a different gapp so I then repeated the process by wiping both places and formatting. i then reinstalled cm7 and use gapp-20110504 hoping it would work. I was able to get the market working but only in the way that i could click on it and have it tell me no data connection is available. I tried to open my browser and got the same error message. I did everything the way I was supposed to but it didn't work. Am i missing something here?

if you want to update your prl you would have to 1) make a nandroid 2)flash a sense rom 3) update your prl 4)restore your nandroid. what are you formatting exactly? are you flashing cm7 and gapps seperately or in one session? because the order is nandroid, wipe, flash cm7, reboot, flash gapps, reboot.
