Someone please help me. I just herd factory reset my samsung galaxy j7 crown like two days ago . Somehow I have like 298 system apps . I've only downloaded 9 apps myself . I'm trying to figure out what system apps are like SIM app dialogs, shortcut BNR,Fused location, badge provider, boot agent, carrier code change, certificate installer. I have tons of apps that were downloaded somehow in dec of 2008. I feel like someone has hacked my phone and is doing some messed up crap. All of these apps say they have no permissions but when I look at the top right corner a it's all permissions it's letting g them do things like run a start up,close other apps ,delete packages, read and modify and delete or create a sd card, have full network access. All kinds of stuff.....what do I do

I have a samsung galaxy j7 crown . My phone has all kinds of apps that are literally running my phone behind my back what can I do. Apps like vpn dialogs, tethering ,automation, shortcut BNR ,location SDK.fused location,MTP application and host .and a lot of these apps have some nasty permissions like being able to create and delete my sd card . Run a start up .,configure my internet. Idk what is going on and all of these apps went there just a day ago. They just popped up out of no where ....can anyone PM me and I'll explain more I don't know what to do....

Have you ever looked at how many processes are running on a computer when you just boot it up and don't launch any apps? Well think of a phone as a small computer.

Most of the things you list here are system services, which are there to allow apps to use the services they provide and which therefore are always present in the background. For example "fused.location" is the location service, so if any app uses Google's location services that process is what provides and updates the information. MTP is the protocol used for sharing information via USB, so it will be sitting waiting to be told that a USB device has been connected. I'm seeing nothing in your list that looks in any way suspicious.

System apps have not been downloaded since the reset, they are part of the ROM and the reset would never have removed them in the first place. All of the apps you name are standard things (apart from "shortcut BNR", which I don't recognise but then I don't have a Samsung either).

    ocnbrze DON'T PANIC!!!!!!!!!

and the reason for the "no permission" is not what you think. the phone is telling you, that you do not have permission to alter the system app(s). you need to gain root access in order to do that, which means that you need to root the phone, if you want to alter or delete these applications.

and just to be clear nobody can remotely hack your phone. hacking means they need to be able to root your phone so that they can alter and do whatever they want. but rooting is never easy and can't be done by simply being near you. someone would have to have your phone physically as well as a pc hooked up to the phone to root it.

just curious as to why you think someone hacked your phone?
