Root please help (swype for droid)

How do i get swype on my moto droid. i tried the trial thing and didnt work at all??? please help

You should get an email with a link to download the installer apk to your phone. Run that and it will have you install the actual Swype program. You'll need to enable Swype (I don't think it does this automatically) and probably change the input method by holding down in a text field until the option pops up and select Swype.
