please help with this problem

I have metro PCS and it is a Galaxy Exhibit and was playing a game on the phone and for no reason it went dead. I turned it back on and it haaad lost everything I have stored in the phone, contacts, games, screensavers and in yellow writing in little bitty letters it has:

If it's still in warranty, I'll give them my 40 years of experience for free:

Take a new phone out of stock.
Open the box.
Remove the phone.
Put battery from old phone into new phone. (To allow customer to fully condition new battery prior to first use.)
Set new phone up.
Remove battery. Put new battery into new phone.
Hand new phone to customer.
Return old phone to distributor for warranty replacement.
Apologize to customer for inconvenience.
