I recently installed android firmware 4.0.3 onto my samsung galaxy s2x (from telus model SGH T989D). and its not running the way i want it to. i want to restore firmware 2.3.5 back onto it, but i dont know how. i tried the factory reset but i still get 4.0.3 on the phone.

i keep trying to search online but its so confusing. is there an easy way to restore its original firmware? please help!!!

In order to go back to 2.3.5 you would have to get a stock ROM and flash back using instructions that can be found in the guide made by Blue1k.

Why would you NOT want to use ICS? It is faster, smoother and corrects the bugs that GB had. My phone has not crashed or had any glitches since I updated to ICS.
