    Does anyone know what the application is called that lets you send and receive messages from someone with blackberry messager. Thanks

    Tried looking around online about the same question. It seems, as of now, your out of luck. It seems the BBM only works on Blackberries (which sort of makes sense). You'll just have to stick with old fashioned SMS or Google Talk for now.

    Yeah, the thing is I think I remember seeing that there was an app. Perhaps, I was just seeing things. Thanks, though.

    I don't think this exists. The BBM works across Blackberry network.

    From Wikipedia

    "BlackBerry Messenger (abbreviated BBM) is a proprietary Instant Messenger application included on newer model BlackBerry devices. It was developed by Research in Motion. Messages sent via Blackberry Messenger are sent over the BlackBerry PIN system; thus, communication is only possible between two BlackBerry devices."

    Yeah that's for the blackberry messanger only for blackberry.

    It'd would be near impossible to make as well. BBM passes through RIM's BIS servers or a company's BES servers. I doubt there is any way for an Android dev to get the APIs or anything to connect to them. It would be cool though...
