Are there any links for this device left? Meticulus development has went dead and I cannot find recent twrp or roms for this device please help!! I know its a stretch but I really need these files, this rom and twrp would be all I need. All mega links are dead. Help!!

I need any and all files relevant to the sgh-t599n almost every link is a dead end. Cannot find twrp past v2.8 and roms are not flashing correctly any help in this regard would be vastly appreciated!!

keep us posted if you do find those files.

The good thing is at least I know I'm not the only one looking. Nenorra the most recent dev went inactive only a year ago so he could have something, the only files I have available right now are here..

YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER. Funny enough the only way to get to these links is through the WayBackMachine but the downloads are still available through AFH and now I can download Meticulus's work again as he was the main dev for this device very much appreciated !!

I have never flashed using Linux I have windows. So I can't help much :(

    You're welcome.

In case anybody needs it, here are the rooting instructions. The Dropbox link is dead, but the Windows executable (VRoot_1.7.3.4863_english_cid1005_7337ba1e_89.exe) is available here and here. For full disclosure, I haven't tried it yet, scrambling to get a Windows box running.

Not to shoot a hole in this or anything but the Twrp files can be flashed with odin from a base state so not that these files aren't helpful just unnecessary as we can flash SuperSu for stock and Magisk for 4.4.4 and above.

No worries. I can confirm the rooting method works, for those who just want to root their stock device.

For those who choose to use Linux or macOS, instead of Windows, /dev/block/mmcblk0p21 is the recovery partition on a Metro PCS SGH-T599H.

    adb push ./recovery-twrp.img /sdcard/Download/
    adb shell
    su
    dd if=/sdcard/Download/recovery-twrp.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21

    Enjoy!
