Root Plz help my galaxy Pop bricked...

I have bought galaxy pop two weeks ago...then one day I download rom manager and after downloading a mod there I touch the option "Back UP Current Rom". Then my screen goes black and my phone never starts again. I still have warranty but they are saying that we will replace or repair it but within 3 month...now 3 months is tooo long . I have also talked with the main distributor but they said "yes". It could take that time. Now forget that

sorry to hear that, haven't tried the 'notorious' program my self but since it available on market i go to their dev site and galaxy mini doesn't appear on their supported list..

the same thing happens to me. And after that i have made a post that galaxy mini/pop user should not use rom manager at any cost ..... Other wise if the customer care find out that ur new set is rooted then they will void ur warrenty and u cant do anything at all.....

well you can do nothing except to wait and give it to service center I live in India and same thing happened with me but i got it replaced in mere less than about 2 weeks

ROM manager doesnt work without ClockworkMod Recovery installed.And it is difficult to install on samsung phones.
Dont try something funny like choosing other phone.
Anyway after that funny business phone wouldnt be detected at all so no one would know about rooting.Samsung FMs are buggy so they gladly replace the phones.
Samsung phones use prop. File system rfs.
First fire up odin and load the firmware files.
Then go in download mode.
If COM port goes yellow in odin,you are ready.(Yeah added and detected.)
Flash and you will restore your phone in no time.

yeah its true... they replaced the board for me with free of cost.. they didnt find my mobile was rooted..also now my firmware pda is s5570XXKA9.. but am from india.. i know its start with DD for india and XX for europe..just confused what the samsung service centre did..but am happy to have a recent firmware..then dude...give some detailed procedure on how to use rom manager for samsung galaxy pop...

never use rom manager in ur galaxy mini or pop. Rom manager doesnt suppote galaxy mini. Don't even install it otherwise shure u will brick ur phone as me and others. But there is a app called mybackup pro. U can use it to backup ur application and media files it works smoothly on mini...

Use Ti backup.It's the best android backup app. ROM manager is used to back up firmwares .ClockworkMod Recovery is required to run it.On samsung phones the recovery doesnt work due to rfs restrictions. There is nothing wrong with the ROM manager app.It's a great app in it's own right. There is a disclaimer which states not to flash or backup without clockworkmod recovery.

before dat i want to tell u dat do not install cwm frm rom manager ... I almost did dat but whn i saw different model n not mine den i just exit and did not select any other .... Thank god

u just hav to downlod odin multi downloader
Search on net for "odin multi downloader s5570.exe"
m sure u will find it out
after dat u hav to downld 2 files

its of 100 mb but u hav dto downld it
after downloding it go to download mod on ur phone and connect via usb to comp.
Run odin on comp.
Select tass.ops in ops selection
tick right all the boxes on left side
and den in lowest box selection select d 100 mb file u downloaded ... Sry actually i dont remember d
exact names of options thats just a hint
den click start and wait for 5 min. Ur phone will restart but do not unplug usb untill odin not shows "pass" after dat u r on android 2.3.4
Den downld ds file to install clokwork mod
Tass recovery cwm.tar
gyz cannpt copy url plz search on net for above nameafter downloading it go again to download
Mode on ur phone connect via usb and same select ops as tass.ops and at lowest selection select tass-recovery-cwm.tar file which u downloaded and click start and wait untill pass
done ..u installed cwm on galaxy mini ... But i myself notbused rom manager even after dat ... Fin any other rom downloDer
