Police scanner issue with audio

Has anyone else had this issue?

I can go to radioreference.com on my pc and listen through the web players and all the audio is fine.
I have tried multiple different scanners on my droid but all the audio is scrambled. I then went to both the m.radioreference and the non mobile radioreference from the droid and both of those audio feeds also sound scrambled.

anyone have any ideas?

just the one... that i've found so far.
it works fine if i listen in on a major city or some of the local stations from where i grew up.

only one that is always scrambled on the phone is the one where i live now. yet its always fine online from the pc.

If you tell me which station it is, I'll go to it and see how it sounds on mine. Strange issue for sure.

Oh yeah, it's bad! Maybe shoot an email to the developer. He's very responsive and I've seen him post here before.

Mine works fine with my stations. If you are having a problem with just one particular station, go to radioreference.com and email the person who is hosting the scanner. Its not the apps fault, so theres no need to email the dev. The app just plays whatever streams come from radioreference.

I just played that station, and it sounds bad. Whoever is hosting that is probably having problems, i would email and let him/her know.

odd update.... i found that through the speaker on the evo it's scrambled but if you plug a set of headphones in that it comes through just fine.

I have the same issue all of a sudden on the Incredible. It's fine then starts to get this irritating "werble" like its scrambled. I would love it fixed but not sure how to....Its the one for Anne Arundel County Police/Fire/EMS in Maryland.

Thank you!

You can connect to your PC using TeamViewer - Free Remote Access and Remote Desktop Sharing over the Internet and run radioreference.com on it remotely. You will see your PC screen on your phone's screen and you can operate it's cursor and click. I don't know if you'll also have audio. Worth a try, imo.

the App sounds scrambled through the speaker b/c some of the broadcast are ment for the left and right speakers of headphones. The station I listend to has the constantable on the left speaker and the sherrif on the right speaker.
