How long do we have to uninstall an app yo get a refund? 15 minutes?
Yeah 15 min is the limit.
Yup, you answered your own question
Some apps will give you longer, they will tell you that in the description. The default time is indeed 15 minutes though.
Although very few developers actually give you longer if your unsatisfied and shoot them an email saying why.
Yeah...Foxfi is one of them as I recently found out - though I have not asked for a refund. I was pleasantly surprised to read of this policy in the description. I wonder which other apps offer similar options.
I received my refund for Adobe PhotoShop Touch ($9.99) about 2 hours after I downloaded it. There are specific things I needed to test for functionality and that program either failed or didn't do as well as another program I already use.
Somewhere in the Google Play world I found a link to ask for a refund after the 15 minute window. I provided my reasons why the program didn't meet my needs. I also explained that another Android software met my needs, I was just looking for a more polished program to use as an alternative. I also explained that it took longer than 15 minutes to put the program through its paces.
The only thing I was bummed about is that I didn't rate the program prior to getting the refund. Once it was refunded it was no longer "purchased" and therefore I couldn't rate it. I can't warn folks that this program isn't worthy of the name "Photoshop"! !)
