What Launcher do you use? And why?

I have ADW Launcher setup on my fiances, and as soon as my DX comes in, I will be using it as well.

This. It's just such a cleaner experience to me. I'm deciding what goes where and how I want it to look. This is a big thing for me coming from the iphone haha.

LP, first droid phone, first launcher I've tried but much nicer than the stock launcher so I doubt I'll try another anytime soon.

Coming from another iphone and looking at the new one, I wasn't wowed. No real new innovation from my point of view. I'm a tinkerer by nature, and android is where it's at for that. Front facing camera and a facelift along with some new hardware wasn't enough.

I am using ADW Launcher and so far no problems and I like the way it works.

I'm sticking with stock right now. I'm going to wait 'til Froyo comes out before switching. Just want to make sure there are no issues w/the update. I don't want to put a lot of effort into customizing just to have to do it all over again.

Honestly, I've been using stock, and I can't find a reason to go back to LP. Sure, I'm missing a few features, but the stability and fact that the stock widgets are completely resizeable make me stay.

    No love for ADW?

I'm curious, is there a way I can install and try out LauncherPro on TOP of ADW, or will I have to uninstall any an all 3rd party launchers before I install another?

You can install as many as you want. I recommend that if you want to mess around with a few at a time, download an application called Home Switcher. It allows you to... do exactly what it's called, switch between the different launchers you have installed. It was a heaven sent when I was trying out a few at a time.

So, if I install LP, it sounds like I will have both the stock and the LP systems to choose between. I've spent a lot of time customizing the stock setup. If I install LP, will I have to start over with the stock setup or will it remain untouched?

I'm using LauncherPro. It's the absolute best in complete customization.

I tried stock for a half a day and it was alright then downloaded LP and ADW, liked ADW at first, but then it got annoying to use, switched to LP and stuck with it. I still go to stock once in a while just to mess with it but always go back to LP. Once LP lets you resize widgets then it'll be perfect.
