Root Poor battery since returning from holiday

Since returning from holiday I have multiple issues with my phone. I often get error messages like "com.android.phone process has stopped working" or "com.android.media has stopped working". The battery life has become awful (from over a day with normal usage, to around 6 hours normal usage). If I do a reinstall of any chosen ROM its fine (with the data and cache wiped). When I then do a titanium backup restore all the problems return. Any idea what setting would be causing this issue? Whilst I was abroad I was connected to the local croatian t mobile network and had data turned off. I didn't connect to any wifi hotspots out there.

did you put the phone through the scanner while powered on?
people say it doesnt damage electronics but ive seen lots of evidence to say the opposite. hitting something with radiation its gonna cause problems
