Poor distance images with LGK4 2017

Hi,
I have an LGK4 2017, which take pretty decent close-ups, but blurry distance shots (anything over ~10 feet. Is there anything I can do that will improve this (other than buying a different phone)?

if the camera fails to focus at longer distances, than it is most likely not due to software issues....which means that it is a hardware issue......thus getting a new phone with a better camera would fix the issue....lol

I tried the link's suggestions, and, yes, the digital zoom does produce noisier images than blowing up the non-zoomed image. I suppose there's no optical zoom on these phone cameras. You're probably right though, a different camera will probably produce better images.
