Just a question to all SE X10i users, do you also have poor video recording/output quality with your product?

I have to be honest, I have been very impressed with the video that I have taken on my phone. I only watch them on a computer screen so don't know what they would be like on a massive screen.

I am looking forward to the HD recording to see if that improves the experience further.

    Depends what you call "poor".

I feel the video and photo quality sucks compared to my old LG KC910, but according to my mate with the Desire the videos from the X10 are much better than on his phone.

But remember the phone has no "Cybershot" logo so dont expect anything great from it :(

but what quality are you recording in,

    YouTube
    MMS
    VGA
    Q-VGA

Oh well Im shocked in a way, Must just be my luck. I can record video fine, its the playback that looks poor, pixelated with coloured squares across the phones screen. I have also tried to upload videos that are fine and unpixelated onto my phone. When playing back the videos they look terrible. Any suggestions will be appreciated thanks.

I wasn't expecting much from the video, but have been amazed just how good it looks on the phone, as have others who have seen stuff I've taken on it. And this is coming from someone who's a keen photographer / videographer and is quite fussy when it comes to picture quality.

Having said that, it won't replace my dedicated camera and camcorder!

However, don't know why you should be getting this, unless there's a problem with your display.
