Anyone else having trouble with their signal strength?
Are you using a Samsung S2? If so, then it is the phone. The Samsung units are known to have signal issues.

as a downrange edit: i was able to fix these issues with a Jelly Bean ROM. So the issue appears to be software driven more then hardware...
Not all Samsungs.. My Transform Ultra's signal is great compared to every other Boost phone I've had so far. My BlackBerry Curve 8530 was the worst.

my s2 is great . would like to know more about changing the prl
Not really sure you can change the prl other then having the phone update it (i.e. you can't easily force feed the update like i had to do with my old touch pro 2 - it refused to update automatically).
Under settings touch system update, then touch update PRL. It will give you a popup saying PRL was updated. You can find the number of the current (on your phone) PRL by going into settings and then touching about phone and touch status and then scroll down to PRL. Mine old PRL version was 61009 and it updated as i was typing this to 31102...
You can also update your profile, firmware or download any Samsung software updates by following the above steps just pick the one you want instead of update PRL.
I use 11119 prl ....had try many different ones.....so far that one gives me better signal.
I have a kyocera hydro stock phone not hacked or nething other than fixing the throttling prob but can ne1 give me help or advice on how to fix signal prob ive updated prl many times an to no prevail nappreciatede help greatly appreciated
Tue service on my Rush has been good. There were a few days over The last few weeks where it was spotty, but Sprint has been updating and upgrading around Southern Ohio so I can't complain.
I am about ready to switch my service . i havent had this much trouble with my samsung rush as i have been this past month . never has my data usage been this high and havent been using my phone or internet much . signal strength has been worse than poor .keeps losing service. bull crap
