pop3 email stops working

My pop3 e-mail (not exchange) stops working about once every 1-2 days. It looks for mail, but doesn't return any results, even though there is mail in the account.

I have to delete the account and start over to get it to work. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. Verizon couldn't help. Glad I'm not alone.

Did it again today. Only happens with pop3 mail.
