Might be late in to the upcoming week but I can see whats up with the key mapping and remove the onscreen navbar.

I can wait. This rom is amazing. Sadly I'm a not so proud owner of a green tint Volt.
I saw a thread of V7 coming... You guys are doing great @Curtis1973 @SykkNyzz and other developers I'm amazed.

Just as a test...back up original keylaout file...copy this to usr/keylayout reboot and wipe caches... This is the keylayout from saber pac.


Remove the _.txt at the end making it gpio-keys.kl

The menu key is 172 in uploaded key file. The one in miui is mapped to 124 i think.

How do I do this, sorry I'm not a developer or anything of that sort but in willing to help.

Just rename the file as posted after download and copy it to system/usr/keylayout then reboot,wipe caches then boot back up and see if your menu key works. Be sure to backup original key file in system/usr/keylayout to sd first so you can put it back if need be.

You will need a root capable file manager like root explorer to try it.

By the way. This should definitely fix the incorrect mapping of the menu key. Just copied over the miui key file to my pac port and whamo...no menu key.

That build prop info I gave was the answer

another tip: go to build.prop and remove qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 or change value to 1. Then reboot to recovery, wipe dalvik and cache. Then reboot. Then boom! Soft navigation keys are gone. Still lost on menu button working from hardware

Without wiping dalvik and cache it will commit a boot loop.

Sorry to say this but now that we've got this down how to fix the sim card problem (I'm on VM) and is there anyway to make SD card default storage or fixing that? Thanks in advance once again! <3

The sd card issue is a tougher problem. Its all related to the provision check with sim. As are the other issues related to sim check. Can't promise much on those issues...yet. Anyone having any issues with incoming calls? Specifically the ringer going off as it should now.

I can test incoming calls later at night and tell you what goes on. Btw the home button LED is not turning on when receiving notifications, anything on that?

Actually I don't get any incoming calls. That's bad, I really need incoming calls. Once the other phones done calling me it just pops up as a missed call.

Sounds like it needs a keylight fix. I can do that. Got a few ideas on this sim check problem but not sure if removing the check it self would also hinder system from acquiring our needed carrier info as well.

For now,copy provision apk from cm11 app folder to app folder of this rom. Then reinstall the rom. Not complete fix but you won't encounter the provision of sim at all.

I have a copy from the cm11 Curtis was talking about... just download the attachment and try his method

I think the reason incoming calls isn't functioning is due to no in call ui. Paste this file in to system/app and reboot. Then if possible ring your phone from another phone.
