does anyone have one of these or know anything about them? i'm looking for one that has an expandable memory card slot

i found this one on amazon:

Amazon.com: Coby 7-Inch 1080p HD Video MP3 Player with 4 GB Flash Memory with HDMI Output (Black): Electronics

ive never owned anything coby before....so i dont know how well they hold up. basically i'm looking for one to be able to store all my daughters movies (or most of them) so i dont have to change dvds and run the risk of them getting ruined. if anyone has one that they can recommend i'd highly appreciate it.

    TIA

looks like a good deal, dont see anywhere what video formats it handles though. It doe3s say it comes with software to convert videos to a format the device handles.. how quick it converts them depends on your pc, might take longer than an hour per movie (all depends on your cpu honestly)

    Hmm, never heard of it...
Didn't see where it said what it handled without conversion though. All i meant was for a standard 90min movie on a dual-core cpu pc it will take 40mins or so to convert

But it seems solid.... maybe check out more reviews though... never can be too sure

I hadn't heard of it either til I went to cnet.com looking for a conversion program. I'm putting all my movies onto my external hard drive so I have backups of them
