Porting DOS applications to android?

    I often hear people say that the android tablets are still not very useful for anything besides fun but when I look at the specs of the newer tablets - dual core, quad core, 32 gb, etc... I wonder. It seems to me that these tablets have more computing power than the original PC, XT, AT or even 386. I was wondering if anyone had tried to port a program like Lotus 1-2-3 or WordPerfect 5.1 to Android? Is there a DOS interface/emulator that can be loaded into an android tablet to make this work?

    There are DOS emulators, sure. There are also decent apps such as Office Suite Pro for the sort of apps you mentioned.
