Is it possible to have it so i have swype when the phone is in portrait mode and have multi touch when it is in landscape?

it's hard to swype on landscape so multi touch would be awesome.

    Thanks!

No it's not, but it's a good idea. I'd love to do something similar.

There was that ability on my droid eris, maybe we can look forward to it.

Motorola seems to listen to their customers wants, kind of, maybe have a mod add a poll to this and of a lot of people like it, shoot motorola an email.

(I'll probably get a lot of crap for this post, but its better to do something about a problem/idea than to let it die.. Just my $0.02)

I agree. Dragging your finger in landscape is lame, but swype also doesnt predict words when typing one letter at a time which is what I do in landscape. IMO it needs more options as well.
