Is it possible to undo all of this via one of the RUU files or something?
No problems yet, just curious in case I ever have a warranty issue or something.

so i answered my own question tonight by accident lol

I rooted the phone once, nandroided it and then decided i wanted to downgrade it to remove all my garbage i had downloaded so i had a clean backup

yea well by doing that it removed clockworkMod XD so i had to tediously get the timing down again to root all over again. well i have a clean backup and we have our answer:

a simple downgrade using the following tutorial will not only remove root but also clockworkMod too:

I was kind of thinking a downgrade would do it. Thanks for confirming.

Not sure what confirmation you're looking for. Did you watch the video? This brings your phone back to stock.

You can also extract the recovery image from the ruu and use unrevoked's tool to flash it.
