thanks.. yea not really a minimal guy, I like to have access to what I need quickly (there are about 15 hotspots on this screen) and I try to make it look cool at the same time

It's pretty basic actually, all I did was use a photo editor make a left and bottom border on a wallpaper, made sure the WP was set to non-scrolling portrait mode in my launcher and set it to that area so the borders would show. Then all I did after that was set the background colour of Simple Calender to match the border color so it appears as a bar across the screen. For icons you can use whatever you want. My bottom ones are called Simple square whites from blackbearblanc but I don't know where they can be downloaded anymore
