I usually average about 750/250 but I saw I had all 4 3G bars so I thought I would drag out the speed test app in Brooklyn tonight. And, yeah, I was pleased :D

    To get the image:

    1) Download SpeedTest.net from the market
    2) run the app
    3) click on results
    4) click menu
    5) email the result to yourself
    6) post the image so we can laugh.... er, I mean nod approvingly.

2.2 for New York is insane!!! Lets see the "fastest 3g network" do that there lol. Of course without blowing up towers!!

Where I am now I get .88/.60 ugh!! It is an alltell area though so it is not anywhere near fully transferred. Heck my phone still thinks 3g here is extended network! At home though in Houston I get 1.4-2.1/.5-.9 so much better :D

    My upload dominates.

I usually average like 1.2-1.5. Might be cause this is a University town, I dunno, but we get good speeds in Champaign.

Yeah I saw the server location, too.

It was actually creepy for a second. That is 4x faster than my ISP on a good day. Scary photo-touching skills there, man.

Heh I actually had the opposite experience racing my iphone friends. they got like 2Mbps and I got 300-700 kbps lol.

I'm pretty happy with speeds overall though. I'd just love to see more of that 2mbps stuff :D

I average 1.9-2.4MBPS DL and 900KBPS-1.1MPBS UL, using the Boston, MA and Manchester, NH servers.
