+1 Me too for the CM6 nightlies. ClockworkMod makes it so easy.

new to custom roms and just flashed 6.rc3 latest version last night.but cant seem to finD a option to use the stock 3g sigm instead of the H any suggestions?

There is no "all-in-one" resource that I know of, just go on XDA and look at each one. They all have their own threads.

It takes a little getting used too but the H symbol is fine.

Does the H stand for 3g tho? What would be edge then? I'm useing T-Mobile . Thanks for the help

H = HSDPA
You still get the G symbol when H is out of range and also E when G is out of range.

I like Geo411m's "stock" ROM. Pretty much stock, with some goodies added and both white and black bar versions. Updated regularly, and is very stable.

I usually stay on enomther's ROMs for stability. If I'm feeling daring, then I'll flash a CM6 nightly for a bit to play, but I usually don't rely on it when just need things to work. (Not saying that CM won't get there, but it is still under pretty heavy development/bug fixing.)

I have decided to stick with a slightly modded Stock ROM:
[ROM] FRF91/FRG33 Stock, Deodexed, rooted, busybox, battery %, TB alert/wake 9/16/10 - xda-developers
So far, so good. Going to use it for a while and see what I can come up with.
As much as I love custom ROM's and all that, I need some major stability.

+1 for Geo411m's stock rom, it works great where cyanogen cm6 stable let me down.

Funny how a slightly modded stock ROM comes out on top in this thread.
I guess we're all suckers for stability on our phone (I know I am).
I'm getting tired of the standard blackbar look by now tho, gonna see what I can flash over it..
+2000000 Love Enomther's ROMs. Really doubt I'll ever go to another ROM. So stable, so quick, so good on battery, feature filled, and totally optional.
