    This and that.
    Here
    Hi.

Would be a good idea if they displayed here, but it's easier to view images in the current "post your screenshot" type threads imo.

Yeah I agree, I just wish there was a way to in <post> a gallery or slideshow.
But it's worth a try to do this.

    This and that.
    Here
Wouldn't have said that, but you don't seem to have grasped what the OP requested, which was never really going to work to begin with.

I think this is a pretty good alternative to a "gallery":

This was completed on an unrooted HTC DROID Incredible running LauncherPro.

All of the image widgets are placed using Desktop Visualizer. The only other widget that I use is the SwitchPro Widget with a transparent background on my main homescreen.

The easiest and most common method is searching online for any attractive wallpapers and choosing the appropriate icons to match. Or, you can design your own theme using photoshop or any other equivalent editing program.

Okay, I think I have finally reached the end of tweaking my "Android7 Theme":

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

    Device: Unrooted HTC Droid Incredible.
    Launcher: LauncherPro (Plus).
    Image widgets: Desktop Visualizer.
    Lockscreen: WidgetLocker.
    Lockscreen clock: Beautiful Widgets.

The first image in the second row is my main homescreen. The blue widgets are a combination of free widgets I downloaded and reskinned using APK Manager. They aren't exactly the "Living Tiles" of the Windows Phone 7- but they all work- including the notification badges on the Phone, Message, and Gmail widgets.

Details on this theme are in this thread: Android Phone 7 Theme.

@paulmz, which skin are you using for the weather on your Beautiful Widgets?

    zombiedad:

The weather skin is called Debossed.

I also made a matching clock skin to it. Both are available for download through the Beautiful Widgets app.

Well, I finally decided that I find a dock to be completely useless. So I revised my Android7 theme using ADW Launcher after reading in other posts that you can turn off the dock completely. ADW is also useful (as other launchers may also be) that you can set up- and down-swipe gestures for specific actions. For instance: without a notification bar I have the down-swipe to drop the notification window. I then have the up-swipe to open the app drawer (no icon or link required!). I'm kinda digging that.

Needless to say, the lockscreen is WidgetLocker. The widgets on the lockscreen are explained in this post: Post Your Lockscreen Screenshots.

The clock/weather/battery widget on the main homescreen is Make Your Clock Pro.
The folder popups on the last three screenshots are using Folder Organizer.

The blue tile widgets and image icons are all part of my Android7 Theme. Information on this layout can be found here: Android7 Theme.

All of this was completed on an unrooted HTC Incredible.
