Go to Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and do a test, post your result here
Holy crap you guys have fast connections!
Got supercharged FiOS here with a private server from Verizon, good stuff.
How much does that cost you?
Just got this on my VZW aircard.
Bellsouth DSL service we had before AT&T took them over:
We're paying for 6Mbps up and 512Kbps down, so it's good.
I'm jealous of Vman. I also want to know how much that costs.
This is from home
$50 bucks, but we split the price with the neighborhood so i dont know the full price I'm sure its like $300-500
Dang, you guys have some fast connections. I mean, I have FiOS also but it pales in comparison.
Now that shit is fast!!!
The nice this is that I am paying for 3 Mb. LOL They bug the hell out of me to upgrade every time I keep telling them no.
Well, I'm only paying for 10Megs so I can't complain.
At home (O2 home broadband 8mb):
In my flat on my nexus connected to hspda:
They're actually pretty close. I was tethered to my phone on my laptop the other day and didn't realise I hadn't switched the wireless hub on, didn't notice the speed difference at all. The only big difference is the latency
Edit: It sucks how much faster all the US connections are, do you pay alot more for speeds like that? Currently paying
We just have the "triple play" package in my house w/ Cablevision. TV, Phone and Internet for "one low price" lol.
@ home.... not quite as fast as work, but it'll do:
Thats Sic bro!
Not bad for work..
This is my work connection. You would think it would be better, but what can I say?
I have Comcast at home and only get about 15 down and 2-3 up.
You guys really have high speeds, I hope you are aware of that. My internet is fast enough for daily browsing (pages load up pretty much instantly), but when I download something (like torrents) it won't get higher than 500kB/s.
Oh, and this is the fastest available where I live.
This is fastest where i live too (i think)
Highest i've seen (torrent) is 1.2mb/s
At Home From Basement. It sucks though.
