Whilst out with my beloved over the weekend, came across a 2 for 15 sale at Kohl's. Figured, I have 2 MCU opening nights to attend, why not, am I right?
First, Spiderman, opening Thursday Midnight.
And I love this one, it covers just about all the main players at this point. And the perfect shirt for Thor Ragnarok
Picked up an LG G6 from my VZW factory store this morning. (Replacing the Samsung Galaxy S7 that Samsung totally screwed up with their OTA Nougat update.) Why buy from VZW? I bought it on the 24 payments of $20.00 plan. If I bought it outright it would have been $672 instead of $480..Luckily I checked out Verizon's specials when I got the reminder Spam that my monthly bill is available online..
I think they call it "Economy Class" rather than "Second Class", because it fits in better with the socialist ideology. On trains they just don't call it "class" at all, it's "hard seat" or "soft seat", and a ticket for the later costs more of course.

Much to my chagrin I bought a gas mower. UGH. I hate gas mowers. But. I have a ton of crab grass and my electric/battery powered mower just can't cut it, it clogs every two rows and I have to flip it and clean it out. So. I bought a more powerful mower for the back and will use the other for the front and in spring and fall when the crab grass isn't terrible (oh and, no, I'm not planting real grass LOL).
We did in fact go to Spiderman Homecoming on Thursday at 8:30, so I bought tickets for myself, my lovely wife and a good friend who's birthday was yesterday. Also got popcorn and snacks. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of my ticket stub. As a stand in, I got a new pair of vans on Saturday.
Gray suede and they have a removable/replaceable insole. That's pretty fricking awesome to those of us that like Vans, this makes them more comfortable and adds to longevity since they can be replaced once worn out.
On a side note, surgery was successful and Rachel is resting comfortably at home. I was with her all week until today.
Also, Spiderman was darn good. There is a scene with Tom Holland and Michael Keaton that is so intense and dark it's amazing. Best scene in the movie.
I've bought lots of those. Big $$ savings to change them yourself vs. paying a shop, and a really easy job on most cars especially if you don't need to do the rotors.
