Hey now, is that a swipe at my age? You're an old geezer, too, you know! :D

Besides, I wouldn't know--my live-in helper does the laundry.

Kit to re-key three exterior lock sets. Since replacing the lock/lever on the french doors, keys don't all match. I don't need more keys, so this was the alternative.

Sliding doors. I haven't had those since the 1960's. And they were internal.

Do you live in the suburbs?

    I'm a city guy.

The parts and labor would’ve been free...and the companionship, priceless.
But I see you’d rather quibble over airfare...

I've heard that before. My plumber has been living in my basement for two years now, and I can't keep beer in the fridge. ;) :D

You left off the quotes, so I FTFY. :D :D

I have a wife, but no basement. Besides, I'd miss the dogs so I'm not staying. :p

Good luck with the failure-to-launch kid in your basement! :D :D ;)

Boots for Raphael. Poor guy, I should have gotten them earlier. Ugh. At least they are coming and he'll have snow-free warm feet soon.

Unless Raphael is accustomed to wearing footwear be prepared for laugh or two. Good on you for providing the protection.

I'll have the camera ready! I put some of my socks on him and he was fine with that. He walked around without a care in the world. Hopefully he'll like/wear them. He never minded the snow before but it's been so brutally cold here lately.

My father always put hunting boots on his bird dogs. Without caring, they would wear and tear their pads to blood. First time in boots were such a hoot. They would walk but quickly lift their paws off the ground. They never minded wearing them... just the first few steps was flat crazy to watch. Good luck with Raphael. (video requested :) )
